Bergen county manufacturer has openings for various machine shop positions. Exp. setting up and running quality components to drawings and routings is required. You must be available for split or 2nd shift hours.

CNC Turning, setup/operator
Experience with Swiss-type lathes a plus.

 

CNC Milling, setup/operator

Experience on vertical machining centers required.

 

Tool Crib Attendant

Detail oriented, organized person familiar with metalworking tools. Duties include maintaining tool and fixture inventory, ordering cutting tools, issuing tools to work orders. Exp. grinding and sharpening of drills a plus.

 

Finishing Operator

Experience polishing, deburring, painting is a plus

 

Machine Operator, Material Handler

Cutting and preparing blanks from bar stock.

Forklift license required.

 

Inspector

Exp. with mechanical and visual inspection of machined components required.

 

Lead Person

Must have experience in the positions listed above and be able to lead a team of skilled machinists. Experience programming CNC machining centers a plus.

Must be available for split or 2nd shift hours.

 

Assembler, Mechanical

Experienced with pneumatic valve assembly and testing.

Electrical Product Engineer

 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We have an immediate need for a newly created position in our Design Engineering department for an Electrical Product Engineer.

 

Duties include electrical design and project leadership including test and development of electrical and electro-mechanical components for pneumatic valves.

 

You design in accordance with customer and applicable specifications and prepare technical and cost proposals. You are familiar with designing products to industry and agency (UL, CSA and European) standards. Prepare reports to document the results of design studies, trade studies, failure analyses, and test programs. Evaluate field problems and recommend design changes. Provide technical assistance to manufacturing and trouble shooting production problems whenever required.

Participate on research & development programs that could involve multiple interfaces internal and external to the company

You could do the following with your eyes closed:

  • Interface with other departments to coordinate design and engineering documentation release. Have strong working relationships with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Manage projects and being responsible for project schedules and ensuring deadlines are met no matter what.
  • Express your ideas clearly and build on the ideas of others.
  • Inspire, provide vision and direction through work.
  • Contribute to our drive to expedite time to market by improving the New Product Development process.

QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience special skills):
You have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in designing and developing new electro-mechanical products. Electromagnetic solenoids for valves a big plus.

 

  • Working knowledge of 3D CAD systems.

 

  • Knowledge of ANSOFT software a big plus
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and capabilities.
  • Should be a self motivated individual that is able to work with limited supervision.

 

  • Ability to conduct theoretical analysis or develop mechanical test protocols and conduct testing

 

  • Must be authorized to work in USA.
