Versa offers a wide array of valves in brass, aluminum, and stainless steel (www.versa-valves.com).   For this robotic contest application, we recommend that you utilize Versa’s E series.  These are direct acting solenoid operated valves available with 2 or 3 way flow functions.  They are available as individual valves or multiple units mounted on a manifold.  Other options such as hazardous location, low watt, and intrinsic safe coils are available.

There are three EZ Series valves offered for the "Versa Challenge."  They are available in three different pressures and flow rates in a light weight, small foot print, low power consumption package. Making this an excellent choice for your robot.  Click to see specification page.
