PERFORMANCE YOU CAN COUNT ON IN THE COLD

Low Temperature Options

When temperatures drop, performance shouldn’t. VERSA’s Low Temp Options are engineered to deliver reliable valve operation in extreme cold environments—down to –50°F (–46°C). Designed for industries where freezing conditions can impact system performance, these configurations feature special low-temperature seals, lubricants, and materials that maintain flexibility, prevent leakage, and ensure dependable actuation in the harshest climates.

From arctic oil fields to outdoor pneumatic systems, VERSA’s low-temperature solutions provide Real World Reliability when it matters most—keeping your operations running safely, efficiently, and without interruption.

Key Features

VERSA’s low-temperature solutions are engineered to perform in extreme environments where conventional valves and materials fail. From seals to solenoids, every component is carefully selected or modified to ensure reliable valve operation in sub-zero conditions—supporting critical systems in energy, utility, and cold-climate industries.

Low-Temperature Seals and Lubricants
VERSA valves are available with seals and lubricants specially formulated to remain flexible and effective in temperatures as low as –65°F (–54°C), preventing leaks and ensuring consistent performance.

Low-Power Solenoid Options
Our solenoids consume as little as 0.5 watts, generating less heat and operating more efficiently in cold environments where temperature management is critical.

Pre-Tested Valve Assemblies
Every low-temp valve configuration is tested and validated to perform under real-world low-temperature conditions, eliminating guesswork and improving field reliability.

Wide Range of Compatible Series
Low-temp options are available across multiple VERSA valve series, including C, V, and D-series, offering flexibility in both pilot-operated and direct-acting designs.

Corrosion-Resistant Materials
Constructed from stainless steel and other rugged materials, VERSA low-temp valves are built to withstand harsh environmental conditions, including moisture and freezing temperatures.

Low-Temperature Option (-44)

Elastomer: This option includes low-temperature Buna seals designed to maintain resilience while providing leakfree performance over extended periods under the most demanding cold environments.

Lubrication: The cold temperature option includes MOLYKOTE® 33, extreme low-temperature lubrication that also performs well in elevated temperatures. This ensures many worry-free years of reliable shifting.
